The Excitement is Building!
NEW PALESTINE — The Justus Family of Companies is delighted to announce all necessary approvals have been obtained to begin construction of Woodland Terrace of New Palestine. The $15 million, 132-unit senior living community will be located on US 52 in New Palestine, Indiana and is expected to hire over 50 new employees.
Woodland Terrace of New Palestine will offer a full continuum of care for residents with 34 independent living cottage homes, 77 licensed assisted living apartments and 21 memory care suites. Monthly rent will be based upon the size and type of home and associated service or care levels.
Below you will find a few of the upcoming construction highlights:
- Earthwork will begin September 10, 2015
- Foundations for the assisted living building and the cottages will be poured in December of 2015 and all foundations will be completed by the end of February 2016
- Framing of the first eight cottage homes will finish in early spring of 2016
- The sales office and model home will open in May 2016
- The first cottages should be ready for move-in by mid to late spring
- The assisted living building will require approximately 18 months to build and the first residents should be able to move in the late spring of 2017
- An official ground-breaking ceremony and celebration will be announced at a later date.
